Demonstraing Responsible AI with ISO 42001

ISO 42001 was originally designed to addresses the unique challenges AI poses, such as ethical considerations, transparency, and continual learning.

Up until now, the main reason to adopt ISO 42001 has been so you can demonstrate to customers, employees and suppliers that you have taken active steps to manage the risks of AI development and deployment.

However, this may change as governments around the world consider new regulatory frameworks to govern AI. This includes the Australian Government who on Thursday 5 Sept 2024 released a proposal paper on introducing mandatory guardrails for the use of AI in high-risk settings.

In this Friday Briefing, StickmanCyber will outline the additional benefits of implementing ISO 42001, including:

  • Creating a framework for managing risks and opportunities.
  • Detecting and mitigating AI bias in third-party tools, such as recruitment systems
  • Building trust by improving traceability, transparency, and reliability.
  • Greater confidence in the internal management of your AI systems.

By attending this briefing, you will be better able to implement AI governance policies that are integrated into your 2025 AI developments and identify short comings in your current AI policy frameworks
